adrift designs

the everywhere project is a collaborative design project based on the song written originally about australia, then adapted to north america (and some s. america) and recorded by willie nelson and made famous by johnny cash. they are 92 luggage tags representing the locations named in the song. very cool project.

i love this guy! he started stenciling around montreal streets initially because he thought they needed more bike paths. he was later arrested, but given a lenient sentence attributed to public support. he has gone on to receive public comissions. love this work , and his mission.

lately, i have been on a big reading kick. now bf and i already had a pretty impressive book collection originally, but i have been buying books 4 at a time and raging through them. books of very different subject matters, at that.
regardless, if you read my blog with any continuity, you know my love for realism painters, and this one does not disappoint. victoria reichelt paints oil on linen, exquisitely. me wants!!
