adrift designs

i am learning to try to bite off one big project per medium at a time. i get an idea for something and i immediately go to *multiples* (if i can do that one, then i should definitely do 2 or 3 others in a different size, configuration, etc). it does not matter what the medium is, i need variety so i consistently feel i must create just that.
i have a big jewelry project in the works, a new bike project on the horizon (YES!), and yet undisclosed new altogether medium project (multiples, of course, promises to reveal as developments are made), and now i should add this.

a  piece of furniture for the entry that i can feel really good about. i have combed craigslist and found many suitable pieces for good and decent prices, but nothing that was inspiring so high time it is, i put my ideas to work......reclaimed custom piece of furniture for the entry that will wrangle all the odds and ends of our comings and goings.............my clutch and bag collection (such containment issues), reuseable grocery bags, margaux's leash and poop bags, john's......well, he's fairly orderly as is....okay something for all my daily baggage, and something that looks a lot like this.......

just the cabinet and definitely not the same screening, i have just the material in mind that has cut outs but won't reveal just how much crap really is inside....

these scandanavian entries make great use of closetless spaces, very simple, clean and creative.
