as promised, better late than never.....a weekend preview.
i bought some white jeans from Marshalls, premium denim from
Paige!
Saturday morning rode 53 miles from the house out and back, great pace and felt really strong
Saturday afternoon we went to the Piccolo Finale at Hampton Park which included picnic blankets, live reggae and motown (awesome) and food trucks!
i, of course brought a bottle of rose (sssshhhh, not allowed) in this amazing new
swell thermos my sister and h gave us as a wedding gift as part of an awesome picnic set (sweet, only waited 36 years for a big girl picnic basket)!
and on sunday, i never changed out of my nightgown, but stayed home all day working on putting away wool clothes, hanging curtains, repotting plants, and giving myself a new manicure and pedicure (cue the redneck phot of my hand around a tall boy can of miller high life)
i have been accenting just my ring finger on my left hand to showcase my new married status (i'm not on facebook, how else are people to know??)
the orange pink color is marmalade from revlon and the blue is dreamer also from revlon.
here is to kicking off a good productive week!
when bf and i finally find "the house" it will be the first time i completely let loose and start digging holes. i love plants, and flowers, but more so plants, and i have tons and tons of pots, just ask my friends and movers that have helped me move the last 4 or 5 times, they'll tell you!
but this will mark the first time that i have total disregard for the not so distant future and start putting them in the ground. i have dabbled in planting in the ground, but reserved my favorites for what have become increasingly larger and larger pots as they mature because i did not want to part with them. i look at plants as pets and monitor their growth like a proud mum with a child in kindergarten. once i own the joint it's gonna get jungly up in this piece. here i come jungle of the month award!
these photos were taken from one of my favorite photographers
laure joliet, she does work for NYT, and conveys space very well, one talented woman
i fancy myself a caretaker of succulents, i am pretty okay at taking care of them. months ago i saw this photo shoot and there is not much about this interior i do not love.
check it out.
